Baby Weights & Newborn Pictures

I was asked how much my other babies weighed, and everyone has been asking me who I think Katherine looks like. I am really bad at seeing resemblance in my own children. I think Katie looks like herself. So here's the stats and a newborn photo of each of my children. Lillian was our only one without much hair; even our blondes came with dark full heads of hair at birth. Who do YOU think Katie looks like?

Lillian: 4 days late, 7 lbs 10 ounces

Joseph: 6 days early, 7 lbs 4 ounces

Michael: 3.5 weeks early, 6 lbs 13 ounces

Allison & Sarah: 2 weeks early, 5 lbs 10 ounces, and 5 lbs 12 ounces

Eliza: 4 days early, 7 lbs

Harmony: 5 days early, 7 lbs 4 ounces

Katherine: 6 days early, 6 lbs 10 ounces

I'd say Katie looks the most like Lillian. I'm like you, I can't see the resemblance in my kids. I don't think they look more like one of us, and I don't think they look like each other, I just think they look like themselves. I can see a little more resemblance to Rusty than I can to myself, though. My mom says our Katie looks exactly like I did at the same age, but I honestly can't see it. All I can see is Katie. :) All your kids are beautiful though. Seeing pictures of your Katie makes me nostalgic for when our Katie was that tiny! :)

In that second post after Katie was born (where the kids were in bed...) I thought I could see the resemblance to Eliza. She definitely looks like one of yours though, and she's just lovely! :)

I loved seeing all the babies. I have such a vivid memory of Lillian when she was a couple weeks old at the seminary dinner. She was sitting, cuddled on Aaron's lap--this perfect baby. I think Katie looks a little like Eliza. But of course, she looks most like herself.
I feel the same way about my kids--that they look like themselves.
I thought it was interesting to compare birth weights.
My kids are as follows:
Walter: 6 lb. 14 oz. (9 days late)
Trent: 6 lb. 14 oz. (3 days late)
Josef: 7 lb. 8 oz. (3 days late)
Brooke: 5 lb. 14 oz. (6 days late)
Jonathan: 6 lb. 9 oz. (5 days early--thanks to an induction!)

In one of the pictures you posted the other day I thought she looked like Eliza. Today I don't know. I'm like you--my kids all look like themselves. But I'm told so often how much Kaylee and Brenna look alike. So sweet :)
