Hmmmm . . .

For the past five weeks, I have been exercising 5 days a week for 40 to 60 minutes in an attempt to lose weight. I'm up 3 pounds. Maybe I shouldn't buy mint Oreos anymore?

Seriously! I am with you. I am losing sleep to exercise and not much is happening. I don't buy the Oreos so much but I have not stopped baking cookies, cakes, brownies etc. Think it might help if I stopped doing that? (She asks as she looks longingly at the apple cake she made for FHE tonight.)

Don't forget, that muscle weighs more than fat. So when you want to really guage how you're doing you need to see what percentage of body fat you actually have, and then meaure it periodically to see if you are losing body fat. The numbers on the scale is kind of deceitful, because when you start working out, you start building muscle tone and the shape of the muscle cells versus those of fat cells are different. I'll post to my blog soon, more on this -- But hopefully you don't get too disappointed because the scale is going up.

Oreos are devilishly delicious! I love how you had the label so funny on this post.

Wow - 5 days a week for 40-60 minutes? You deserve some oreos! That's more exercise that I have done in the last 6 months!
