She's here! Eliza Joy Bartholomew was born on Monday at 11:30 a.m. -- everything went smoothly with the delivery and I'm recovering fairly well. She weighed in at 7 lbs exactly. She's a beautiful patient baby who is being loved to pieces by her 5 older siblings.
Induction was started at about 9:00 when my water was broken and Pitocin was started. Just 2 1/2 hours later, Eliza arrived!
Oh Christina, she's a doll! I'm so happy for you and your family. And it's nice to finally a photo of you too. Congrats, and I hope your house gets finished soon.
Congratulations to your family - and WELCOME to Eliza! You look so calm, and Eliza is just a beauty. Now, hopefully you can move in to your beautiful new home soon!
What a blessing! We are thrilled for you and the family. I guess you can take a "few" days off now. :o) I'll try and hold down the fort. BTW, 2.5 hrs of labor...sounds like Eliza DID come with 30% less debut pain. LOL
She's beautiful! It brought tears to my eyes to see your post that she's finally here! Tears of joy and I was remembering when you first made your annoucement....I think to myself...it can't be time already for her to have the baby..but it's true...she's here...anyhow I'll stop babbling! Take good care of yourself! I look forward to seeing more photos! What a doll!
