Everything in life happens at once, doesn't it? Our house is progressing well -- they should pour the basement floor today, then the framers start tomorrrow. I'm so excited to see it coming together. I was the one who designed the home, from the location of the bathrooms to the size of the closets and location of sinks. We did take my designs to an architect to draw up, but really, the house is my dream coming to reality.
In the meantime, we've decided we're putting this home on the market in about two weeks. My dad is coming down for 3 days next week to help us do the last-minute work to get the house ready for sale. It sure seems like the list is growing longer, from simple things like getting the windows washed, weeding, and fixing a gate, to bigger things like molding in the kitchen, a new gutter, and total decluttering. The decluttering is mostly left up to me, and I don't look forward to it. I already took a ton of stuff to storage a few months ago, but now I've got to decide what furniture goes & clean out all the closets. Wish me luck. We've also been painting inside yesterday and today, so I get the fun chore of keeping the kids away from the paint mess. =)
All of this is interfering with my more fun work -- I'm almost done with another Grubbies CD, but I can't seem to find the hour or two I would need to finish it. I'm also having lots of fun with 1HourScrap, but I've got a to-do list there, too. Not to mention I have a million pictures to scrapbook, and I can't seem to find the time for that, either. But I 'm going to have a good, fulfilling day today, and I'm hopeful I'll make a dent in all those to-do lists.
