Clean Windows & Progress

I haven't had much time to post, between launching my Grubbies 3 CD, running 1HourScrap, and working like mad to get our house ready for sale. I think I've taken my last load to storage (knock on wood) and I'm ready to do the thorough cleaning and the last de-cluttering of our hot spots -- mostly our desks, our mail-sorting area and the tops of our dressers. We've also got a pile of home improvement tools & stuff that we've been using and that need to be put away.

The biggest lift, though, was yesterday, when a good friend watched the boys during the twins' nap (thank goodness they still take one once in a while!). I attacked the sewing/storage room and cleaned it all out. The window in there was driving me nuts. Our windows are all 40+ years old and this one had hard water stains on it from the sprinklers that seemed impossible to get off. Hooray for Google, though, as I found out that vinegar works on hard water stains. It still took a lot of elbow grease, but now I can walk in that room and look out the window into the backyard and feel such accomplishment.

Today, I'm going to clean all the other windows. Most of them shouldn't be as hard, though. I also hope to clean off my side of the desk and give the kitchen a thorough cleaning.

You've been busy! I can't believe you find the time to do the cleaning...designing..running a site, and getting the house ready to be placed on the market for sale! I've been pretty busy lately too. I'm working for 3 different sites (one will be opening soon). I've been car shopping for our teenager, and my youngest girls are graduating from 6th Grade! Yikes they grow up so quick! Keep up the great work Christina. Love your designs!
